(These posters are all over Boston right now. I love them. But it makes me miss running somethin' fierce!)
I am one measly 12-hour night shift away from freedom. Six whole days of FREEDOM! Things to look forward to on my days off....
1. NOT WORKING!
2. Time spent with my man.
4. GRACE IS COMING TO TOWN!
And.................
I've heard it's quite a party here in Boston when the marathon comes to town. And I can't wait to experience it. We live right by the marathon course so I plan on being out there cheering on the runners, come rain or shine (it's supposed to be 58 degrees and overcast that day)!
Do you love going to races to cheer on complete strangers? I do. I love seeing those runners push themselves. I'll admit, though, I get a little bit jealous that they're out there 'pounding the pavement' and I'm standing on the sidelines. I'll get back there, though. Heel thyself, left knee!!
I'm so jealous that you live in Boston and can watch the race. I watched it last year and it is insane. I had never been so excited to watch a race ever. Have fun!
ReplyDeleteWatching the Boston sounds like so much fun! I love watching ANY race, but Boston would definitely be the best. Have fun and have a magnificent weekend!
ReplyDeleteWooHoo! Marathon weekend is almost here! Going to the Expo Saturday, doing the BAA 5k on Sunday and then I am cheering complete strangers on on Monday. Even though the weather is gonna suck for me, I am SO HAPPY the weather is going to be near perfect for the marathoners!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time off!
BTW: Where can we find one of those posters? Think they would notice one missing? Just sayin'
ReplyDeleteHow cool to be in Boston! I haven't had the chance to cheer at any races I'm not participating in...not really a boat ton of races in my area to begin with. :)
ReplyDeleteThis weekend is all about my kids! Oh...and I'm racing. (5k on Sunday)
I'm so jealous you're in boston for the marathon!! I miss it there so much!! and I LOVE LOVE LOVE that poster!!
