I know. I know. I'm playing the minimalism game to get rid of stuff and yet, I can't stop perusing Etsy looking for cute finishing touches for our loft (one of which will be here early next week!). Over the winter I mentioned how Salt Lake City has some of the worst air quality in the nation from about December through February.  In fact, we're number 8.

So brutal.

One of my goals before our next inversion season is to make a living wall with various plants that will help filter our indoor air. I know that the number of plants we will need to make a difference in the air that we breathe is pretty big but that's okay. I'm ready to make it a jungle up in here!

Wouldn't those egg-shaped planters be great for an indoor herb garden?

  1. Plants happen to be one of my favorite hobbies! My favorites are succulents, fiddle leaf figs, and air plants. Those planters are so pretty and minimalist. I love number 4!

  3. Those planters are so cute.

It's so easy to only focus on our horrible air quality on the 35ish "red" air days we have or during the inversion season. Just yesterday out on Shoreline I thought it seemed a little hazy, but maybe it was just my eyes... Nope - listening to the radio later I heard them announce it was a "yellow" air quality day on what was an otherwise perfect Spring day!
