Workouts.

Another lifetime ago when I used to run ultra-marathons. Moab. March '09.

Weekly workouts: Monday - 6 mile run! And since Marathon Monday is upon us, I thought it fitting to run Heartbreak Hill. Tuesday - Crossfit: 4 sets of 4 reps shoulder press (75lbs), then 45 knees-to-elbows (I do hanging leg raises!) + 45 ground-to-overhead with 25lbs plate. Wednesday - 4 mile run! Thursday - Crossfit: 20 ring dips + 24 single-leg KB step-ups (52lbs), then 300 jump ropes + 50 push-press (55lbs). Friday - REST DAY!

What was your favorite workout you did this week?

  1. You are awesome! I remember how hard you had to train for the 100 miler. I'm so proud of you for running the Wasatch 100 and for the other ultras, marathons (10, Top of Utah), and many more that you've run in the past.

Someday Ms Alice will be cheering you on at Big Mountain... Keep it up!

  4. You are awesome. I'm in awe of how much exercise you do! My friend is heading off to London on Monday to run the London Marathon, so I have a vague idea of how much training & dedication goes into preparing to run a marathon. AMAZING.

My favourite workout this week was climbing ANZAC Hill for the first time. It isn't a big hill, nothing like Moab, but I'd never done it before so I was pretty proud. Now I'm going to incorporate a hill climb into at least one of my workouts each week!
