Before our class last week, Alice and I had a little picnic on the grass in the beautiful gardens of the Prudential Center.  I had a turkey & cranberry sandwich with a chocolate chip cookie and an Arnold Palmer.  She had..... well, you know.

(Non) Garmin stats:  I can't seem to get my act together with using my Garmin again.  But that's okay because I may have found something better.  Strava!  I am still figuring out all the bells and whistles of this app but so far, I love it.  It basically turns your iPhone into a Garmin.  I used it for a run while in Utah and for a quick 4-miler here last Wednesday.  And the best part?  You can compete with complete strangers who have done the same run!  Yep.  Perfect.  You know how I like to get all competitive when I run.  With, like, trains and stuff.
