Name Game.

Since this wee one will be arriving in 9 short weeks, my husband and I spent some time over the weekend thinking about what we will name our little bundle of joy.  Although we are not going to reveal her name until she is born, we have established some rules for picking a name for our baby girl.

Classic (but not common)

Easily spelled

Easily pronounced

You see, I have a relatively uncommon name.  And don't get me wrong, I love my name but my entire life has been spent either correcting the spelling or the pronunciation of Briana (only one N, pronounced Bree-ANNA).  And it gets really old.  

So.  Our little girl will have a beautiful first name.  A meaningful middle name.  And my husband's last name.  And I can't wait to meet her and call her that name for the first time.

How did your parents pick your name?  How did you pick your child's name?  My name came out of a baby book.  I was to be Briana or Bridget or Bianca.  Or Dillon had I been a boy.  And I have no middle name but all of my siblings do.  Strange, I know.

And, can I just say, as amazing and as wonderful as Adobe PhotoShop is, their customer service and buying process SUUUUCKS.  Like so much.  You are a billion-dollar company.  Get it together.
