Although my husband and I don't really celebrate Christmas, I do love this time of year for all of the decorations. Especially the lights. I am sure every little kid remembers laying on the floor below the Christmas tree watching the lights twinkle and sparkle against the ornaments. I used to lay there for hours.

What is your fondest memory of this time of the year, even if you don't celebrate? Decorating the tree in December. Taking it down in February (no joke). Making blanket-forts over the heater vents. Building snowmen. Making snowball slushies with fresh snow and eggnog. Being a kid sure is magical.
I LOVE Christmas lights! I also love the smell of real Christmas trees-- simply fantastic.
