We went back to the Tick WoodsLynn Woods for an afternoon of mountain biking... and I was pleasantly surprised with the terrain. The trails were a little overgrown (it's early in the season) but there were definitely some challenging and technical sections. We had a great time and, after a thorough inspection, we came home tick-free (unlike last time)! But, let me just say, the mosquitoes are NO JOKE out there. Even though I had bug spray on, those little eff-ers STILL circled my head... and I have no idea what that caterpillar web-like cocoon thing is, BTW... I was intrigued, but kept my distance. Have you seen one of those things before? If so, WHAT THE EFF IS IT??
Are you a magnet for mosquitoes? I totally am, which is good for anyone with me as they won't need to wear repellant while I'm around!
Non-Garmin stats: 3-ish hours of mtn biking in the beautiful Lynn Woods (we may or may not have been lost for about 30 minutes, though).
