Zapped.

(Big Kitty is saying, 'Get up and unpack some stuff, it's obstructing my space!')

I am totally drained today... but I'm pretty sure it is my fault.  I woke up with Lee around 6:45 a.m., sent him off to work with a kiss, and then got ready for a run.  I checked weather.com and it said it was 19 degrees but feels like THREE DEGREES!  Holy frozen snot-rockets, that's cold.  But whatev, after my vacation-like eating since moving to Boston I was determined to get in a good, long run today.  Off I went in the direction of the Charles River and, I have to say, it wasn't too bad out there!  I mean, it was cold, but once I got moving it was pretty tolerable (everyone stared at me as I passed them wondering what I'd smoked before going outside to exercise on a day like today).  I ran across a bridge to the Harvard/MIT side of the river and enjoyed seeing downtown Boston from another angle.  Seriously. This city is the bomb.  There is so much to see and the miles just flew by as I ran.  I ended up running just over 10 miles and I kept a consistent sub-8 min/mile pace the entire time! I felt good during the run... but shortly after getting home, I was totally pooped (even after my power-house snack of a PB&J and a glass of milk).

And now I'm faced with a living room full of boxes requiring my attention and I just don't have the juice to get them emptied.  I've already unpacked 2 HUGE boxes that were full of kitchen stuff so I've made some progress but, with my energy level at the moment, it's pretty slow-going.  I think a quick nap is in order to set me straight and then I can dedicate the rest of my afternoon (and probably tomorrow and the next day) to getting stuff put away.

(This view never gets old.)

Garmin stats: 10.4 miles/1hr 18min. 19 eff-ing degrees outside. Oh and wind chill of course! Make that THREE DEGREES!
