It's time.

Our stuff is gone.  My car is gone.  Our food is gone.  It's time to move.  Our flight is tonight at 5 P.M.  We're really moving.  Wow.

I had this picture in my head of how the whole 'shipping the Jetta off to Boston' would look and, let me just say, it went nothing like I imagined.  I thought there would be this HUGE, double-decker semi-truck that would pull up on 2nd South and then some burly dude would drive it up the ramp and secure my car to the spot that hangs over the front of the cab of the truck or some other impossibly placed angle and then I would get all teary as I watched my car drive off into the sunset... It went nothing like that.

My car was put on a flat-bed tow truck by a WOMAN (she actually was burly, though) and, after a thorough inspection, she was like, "See ya."  And I was like, "Bye."  No tears.  No sunset.  It was very anti-climactic.  Maybe the delivery of my car in Boston will be a little more dramatic.

Off she goes. Enjoy the ride.

I guess they take my car on the tow truck to a central location and then it gets loaded onto the huge, double-decker semi-truck by a big, burly dude (or chick).

This morning Lee and I woke up, looked at each other and said, "Wow. We're moving today."  Craziness.  We had breakfast at Carlucci's with my favorite person, J-Wow.  Breakfast was great. Tears were shed.  Promises were made.  I'll miss that girl.  But we'll be back.

Next stop?  Boston, Massachusetts!

Goodbye downtown S.L.C. We'll miss you!
