We made it to Napa!! After a last minute decision (thanks to my lovely husband) we decided to fly rather than drive to Napa... which turned out to be a smart idea since the Sierras were looking to get 2 to 3 feet of snow today = not good Jetta driving weather. We arrived around 10 a.m. this morning, got in our rental hybrid (it's crunchy Northern Cali, btw), grabbed some In N' Out and headed to my dad's house.
After a long day of traveling followed by a long afternoon/evening of wine-drinking and food-eating, Lee and I have settled into bed... the sound of rain outside our window lulling us to sleep. Happy Global Zin Day everyone!
