Favorite Dessert Recipes.

Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream (don't tell her it's also full of spinach!)

Lately I feel like I'm starting to sound like a lunatic when I talk about all the negative things I've learned about sugar and how it affects our bodies. But I can't help it!! It seems to be the topic du jour everywhere from NPR to the NY Times Bestsellers list to our local newspaper.

And then there was my own personal experience without sugar during my Whole30.

But don't worry. I'm going to spare you the sugar talk today and instead give you some more of my favorite recipes that are either low-sugar or are only sweetened by the naturally occurring sugars in the fruit they contain (and all of them are Paleo, if that interests you at all). Here you go.

Mint Chocolate Chip 'Ice Cream' (Alice ate this for breakfast this morning!)

Snickerdoodle Muffins (I made these for Alice's birthday brunch. They were a hit!)

Homemade Dark Chocolate

Banana Cashew Pudding (I made this today and it will be my dessert tonight!)

Salted Almond Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies

Pecan Fudge Brownies

As you can see, the majority of these recipes are from Lindsay of Delighted Momma. She is constantly posting healthy recipes and I've not found one yet that isn't delicious.

Do you have a favorite (and somewhat healthy) dessert recipe?

Picking out her favorite part. Enjoy Life Chocolate Chips are the best!

  1. I LOVE all of Lindsay's recipes! I just made her mint/cilantro "rice" for part of our lunch today. My favorite so far is the raw, chocolate cheesecake. Personally, I'm loving your food/Whole 30 posts.
