My excuse.

This girl helped me fly across the country with two cats. What a good friend! Boston, Dec '10.

I spent my would-be blogging time today doing wedding makeup for this beautiful woman who is getting married in just over a month!  She sure is going to be a beautiful bride.

Weekly Workouts: Monday - CrossFit! Find 1RM back squat (I did 5 x 10 with 35# bar. No pain!), then 15 minute AMRAP of 1 power clean + 1 R leg lunge + 1 L leg lunge + 1 push press (65lbs Rx) = 1 round (41 rounds total). Tuesday - CrossFit! 2 position snatch (hang, floor. 55lbs), then 3 rounds for time of: 10 snatches (55lbs) + 10 box jumps (20") + 10 bar-facing burpees. Wednesday - Rest day! And a sore throat. Thursday - CrossFit! 50 reps of strict shoulder press @ 60% (53lbs), then Tabata WOD :20/:10 x 8 rounds of pull-ups (red band), push press (45lbs), burpees. Friday - CrossFit! Find a 3-rep max for front squats (I did 63lbs with no pain!), then 3 rounds for time of 20 squat cleans (55lbs) + 20 wall balls (14lbs) + 400-meter run = 17:53.
