Momma & Alice. April 4th, 2012.
I know I've posted this photo before but, after seeing that it was taken exactly a year ago today, I couldn't help putting it up once more. Oh, how this kid has changed! It's unbelievable that on this day in 2012 Alice was a wee little peanut. And, as of her one-year appointment last week, she is now a whopping 23.8 pounds and 31.5 inches long (89th percentile for weight, 99.7th percentile for height).
You go, girl.
The chilly weather and my daily grind has left me a little uninspired so I will just leave you with a recap of my weekly workouts. Riveting blogging, I know.
Weekly workout summary: Monday - Run! Just a little 4.6 miles. Tuesday - Crossfit: One-rep max strict shoulder press (85lbs), then 20 kettle bell swings (35lbs) + 15 push press (75lbs) + 45 burpees, then another 20 kettle bell swings. Wednesday - Crossfit: 28 strict pull-ups + 28 squat cleans (75lbs) + 42 knees-to-elbows. Thursday - Crossfit: Romanian deadlifts (115lbs), then 60 lunges holding 25lbs plate overhead + 45 push-ups (which I did on my knees!). Friday - A well-deserved rest day.
