My sweet Grandma is 85 years old today. A few months back we weren't certain she was even going to make it long enough to meet her first great-grandchild. After 14 days in the hospital and multiple procedures to fix her failing heart valves, she's here, happy and healthy, to meet Alice. They sure are enjoying getting to know each other.
And I am enjoying watching my wonderful Grandma get to know my beautiful daughter.
(Non) Garmin stats: Nothing! No workout today. I'll be enjoying the day celebrating both my grandma's 85th year and my daughter's 10th week of life.
Great Grandma is a sweet lady... but one tough cookie. She looks great, so happy she is feeling better after her set backs this last winter. She has a ton of wisdom and words of advice that she provided me, while you were growing up. Glad she is here to provide some love and guidance to you and little Alice. xoxo
