You are two weeks old today. Two weeks! At this time two weeks ago your dad and I were eagerly anticipating your arrival. And now you are here and you have totally flipped our lives upside down in such a good and sleep-deprived way. In these two short weeks, we have loved getting to know you. Getting to know your quirks and cries. Getting to know your cute facial expressions. You are such an alert and expressive baby! And, for the most part, your crying is justified by a hungry belly, a dirty bum or a desire to be cuddled. And we are more than happy to oblige.
We are so in love with you. You have brought such joy into our lives in these two short weeks. And we can't wait to see what each day holds.
