Afternoon Tea.

On Saturday I was invited to afternoon tea with a friend I hadn't seen in months.  The Four Seasons in Boston does a traditional afternoon tea service described as a civilized, refined respite from the taxing pace of the day's activities.  And a respite it was.

The tea selection was wonderful (I had the Rooibos Vanilla), the tea sandwiches and pastries were delectable and the conversation and catching up were just what I needed.  If you are ever in Boston, take an afternoon to enjoy tea and small bites in the beautiful Four Seasons across from Boston Common.  It is definitely worth it.  Thanks, C.

And I've been listening to this song over and over today.  So beautiful.  Just like the man it was written for.  May we all take a moment to reflect on the civil rights of every human regardless of age, sex, race, gender, or religion.

Returning violence for violence multiplies violence,
adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness:
Only light can do that.
Hate cannot drive out hate:
Only love can do that.

Everybody deserves equal rights.  Everybody.
