W100.

We've finished an amazing and exhausting day volunteering at the Wasatch Front 100 Mile Endurance Run (W100).  We spent the entire day in the mountains.  We enjoyed time with family and friends.  We cheered on some amazing men and women as they pushed themselves towards their goal of finishing the 100 grueling miles of this monster race.  And I loved every minute of it.  I took tons of photos, many of which I will bore you with tomorrow.  Until then... good night, my lovely Salt Lake.  You are so enchanting to me.

Do you have any aspirations to run an ultra-marathon (anything over 26.2 miles)?  I did.  And I still do.  I've run three (one of which was the W100) and, as soon as I have a baby (or two), I'm pretty sure I'll attempt it again.

  1. i 100%, without a doubt, want to run an ultra (or two, or three...). it's definitely next on my running bucket list.

  2. I think I'll have to master a marathon injury-free before I even THINK about running an ultra! Sounds intense!

  3. Thanks so much to you and Lee for volunteering at Big Mountain Aid Station (mile 39.4), of the Wasatch 100. Also thanks for using your nursing skills to help several of the runners who without your help would not have continued to the finish.
