Autumn. My love!

Autumn is starting to show herself. 

I saw her colors today!

The reds have arrived, the yellows will follow,

and the crisp cool air is here to stay.

On a morning hike through the trees,

I searched for autumn's color.

Her beautiful foliage peaks too soon

with vibrancy like no other.

Soon the leaves will fall

which can only mean one thing.

Winter's icy grip is coming

and then I will wish for spring.
