Photo Friday: The Great Escape Edition.

I am so boring lately.  What is my deal?!?  Oh ya.  I've been doing this adult thing called working (ppssssssh!).  BUT NOT THIS WEEKEND!!  I'm off (thank GOD!) for the entire weekend.  And it's a good thing, too, because I was beginning to feel kinda sorta (okay A LOT) crazy.

Today, on my lunch break, I slung my sack lunch on my shoulder and strolled across the pedestrian bridge over Storrow Drive to the banks of the Charles.  I watched the mama goose and her babies, I read a book on my iPhone (the Hunger Games.  Have you read it?  Please DISCUSS!!), and I enjoyed a moment of peace and quiet before my hectic afternoon.  I can't even begin to describe how ridiculous the last four hours of my shift were.  I remember saying to my co-worker... 'Is this really happening right now?'  Yep.  It was.

I'm soooooooooooo glad I'm not back 'till Monday.

What do YOU have planned for the weekend?  We were going to head to New Hampshire for some camping and mtn biking but there's a lot of rain in the forecast (drats!!) so we're staying put.  But I'm definitely getting dressed up tomorrow night and we're definitely going out.  It's definitely happening.

P.S.  Time for a quick embarrassing story.  I was SO engrossed in 'the Hunger Games' the other night while riding the train home from work that I totally missed my train stop.  Like I looked up and was like, 'Hmmmm... this doesn't look familiar.  OH WAIT. I missed my stop.'  Yep.  I'm cool like that.
