Until you... whatever.

It was a perfect morning to bike to work.  Sunny, cool-ish, peaceful.  A good start to (hopefully) a great day.

'So stop waiting until you finish school,
until you go back to school,
until you lose ten pounds,
until you gain ten pounds,
until you have kids,
until your kids leave the house,
until you start work,
until you retire,
until you get married,
until you get divorced,
until Friday night,
until Sunday morning,
until you get a new car or home,
until your car or home is paid off,
until spring, until summer, until fall, until winter,
until you're off welfare,
until the first or the fifteenth,
until your song comes on,
until you've had a drink,
until you've sobered up,
until you die,
until you are born again
to decide that there is no better time than right now to be....
happy.'

Non-Garmin stats: Bike to/from work... both Saturday & Sunday.  Gorgeous.  And I'm so excited for the bike ride home tonight as I'll have some company.... Lee is meeting me for an evening bike ride together along the Charles after work.  My heart is bursting.

  1. i heard a great quote recently that "happiness is a choice" or you could think of it as "happiness is a state of mind." i love these because it is true. the only reason someone wouldn't be happy was because they are choosing not to be! it is all in our own outlooks!

  2. I love this quote and read it all the time. It's so very true. If we keep waiting for the "right" time we'll never be happy!
