Check Yourself.

(Boston might be prettier than SLC in Spring)

So I was thinking about something during savasana in yoga tonight (I know, I know... I'm not supposed to be thinking AT ALL during that part) and I realized something. This is my life. Right now. My life isn't going to start or get better when we move back to Salt Lake or when we become parents or when I make more friends in Boston or when whatever! This IS it right now. And it's pretty damn great. And it will be great when we move or if we don't move and decide to stay East coasters. It'll all be great. But I need to focus on right now. That's all. Just focus on the moment.

Some things in my life that make me supremely happy RIGHT NOW:

1. Love - From friends. From family. And, most importantly, from Lee.

2. Nature - Being in the outdoors is key to my happiness. Today, after my hair cut, I spent the afternoon walking around downtown SLC. It filled my soul.

And last, but not least (and maybe a bit random)...

3. Food - Not just any food, but good food. We are fortunate to be able to afford to eat healthy and I know that isn't possible for many. For that, I am grateful. I sure love good food.

What makes you 'check yourself' and makes you realize you're pretty damn lucky? I had an epiphany during yoga. No more wanderlust from me.
