So we're moving. When I met Lee in 2007 a move to Boston was always in the cards for him but now that we're married.... it is in the cards for ME! Last week Lee found out that he was being promoted and this promotion entails more responsibility and a move to Boston to be closer to the corporate office. Lee lived in Boston when he first graduated from college and that city has always had a special place in his heart. Now that we've started to put down roots in SLC though, the decision to move has become more difficult. From a career perspective, it is a win-win for both of us as he is moving up in the company and for me...I'll get paid A LOT more in Massachusetts than I currently do in Utah (it's a damn shame, actually). I'm also looking forward to living in a big city again with the 'city culture,' the 'city fashion,' and the 'city nightlife.' As much as I love Salt Lake, I'm looking forward to the change that living in an East coast city will bring.
Of course we are sad about leaving our home here in Utah... leaving our friends... our farmer's market... our local bars and restaurants... our awesome loft in downtown.... but with that comes a new adventure that we can't wait to start. We're working on getting an apartment with a few extra bedrooms so if you're ever in the area or fancy a trip to Beantown... let us know! All are welcome!
I am sad that you will be moving, but SO excited for you and Lee at the same time! Amy lives in Boston with her Lee and loves it!! Hopefully I will be able to see you there too when I visit her... when does it look like a move is on?? (Mike Preece lives there too... did you know!! He works at the hospital ... )
