I guess I'm a masochist... after my hell-ish travel last week, I'm BACK at the airport. I'm in Detroit, chillin' in the SkyClub, awaiting my 5pm flight to San Fran. Can't wait to see my lil' sister and enjoy a few days with her before she LEAVES FOR TWO WHOLE YEARS to make the world a better place! Waaaaaah. She's so selfish leaving me!! Doesn't she know I'm going to miss her?!
So the thing about the SkyClub in Detroit is... there is no bartender. Other ones (like Boston), you saunter up to the bar, ask for a drink (gin & tonic, in my case) and voila... you have a drink, free of charge. Here in D-town, there is NO bartender so you make your own drinks which would be sweet if I knew how to make anything. Uuuuum, I generally don't make gin & tonics on my own as they are my go-to drink when out at the bar... so I'm not that great at the ratio of gin to tonic. Lemme just say I may've been a lil' heavy-handed on this pour.
