Yesterday Boston was rain-filled and dreary but surprisingly warm.  I had made plans with friends from my Mommy class to have lunch and, luckily, the rain only deterred a few from coming out.  Alice and I headed out in the rain, she in the Moby and me in my red rain boots all while under the cover of my husband's gigantic golf umbrella.  We had a wonderful lunch full of baby and mommy talk, public breast-feeding, and beer (just one!).  

On our way home, Alice and I walked down the steps to the T and were greeted by beautiful saxophone music filling the station.  It took me a minute but then I realized he was playing Michael Jackson's Human Nature.  And he was really good!  I usually never have cash but I remembered that I had a dollar in my purse so I fished it out and put it in his jar.  He winked as a gesture of thanks as Alice and I walked towards the turnstiles.  As I was paying my fare, I realized that he had stopped playing Michael Jackson and was playing a beautiful rendition of Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.  He noticed that I was carrying a sleeping baby and he was playing her a beautiful lullaby.  As the music filled the Copley Square T station, I turned and smiled at him.   

How sweet!  And my heart felt so happy.  It was a wonderful feeling.    

(Non) Garmin stats:  Monday = Pure Barre DVD (I am STILL sore).  Tuesday = I wanted to run but it was a rainy mess so a living room workout with Nike Training Club it was... Shoulder Ripper and Sculpted Arms.  Holy shit.  It was tough!  Burpees with shoulder press?!  Side plank with lateral arm raise using weights?!  I LOVE IT SO MUCH.  Today = Run.  Distance still to be determined.
