35 weeks.

So I realize my blog has become heavily baby-based lately.  Sorry about that.  Honestly, though, not much else is going on in my life.  Other than work and every-other-week OB appointments (soon to be weekly), I am pretty much just hanging out, growing a baby inside of my belly.  No big deal.  But really... I can't wait to blog about the stuff I used to blog about.  Like awesome TRX workouts and increasing my running mileage and Pure Barre and yoga and marathon and ultra-marathon training (fall time maybe?).  I miss blogging about all of that stuff.  Of course there will continue to be baby and eventually mommy blogging (eeek!) but I hope to keep it balanced and entertaining.  And hopefully you'll continue to read along as I try to figure it aaaaaall out.

35 weeks.

Okay.  Now that that's out of the way, let's talk about the wee-one (ha!).  I was really excited this morning because I had an ultrasound scheduled to check this little chica's growth and position in my belly and I was hoping to catch a glimpse of her face as last time she wouldn't move her hands out of the way.  Fortunately.... she pulled it together AND IS HEAD DOWN AND IN THE PERFECT POSITION FOR DELIVERY!  Unfortunately... that means they couldn't get a picture of her tiny little face as she is facing my spine (good girl!).  Bummer.  But I'll take it as this means (hopefully) no knife for me.

And apparently... she's a bruiser.  She's measuring in at a whopping 6 lbs 2 oz and is 64% percentile for growth.  Yikes.  But here's the thing: ultrasounds for growth can be off by up to a pound or two.  Either way, I am sure we'll have a big baby as I am 5'9" and am by no means small-boned and my husband is a solid 6'5".  And besides, chubby babies = cute babies, right?  Right.

P.S.  I have a feeling that, by 40 weeks, I am going to be huuuuuuge.  You just wait.  I'll be all torpedo-shaped, for sure.
