Photo Friday: It's fall!

Fall has finally arrived in Boston.  Finally!  We woke up super early (like 5:30 AM) due to Lee's jet lag, had some breakfast, then I went for a walk to a delicious bakery a few miles from our apartment to buy some fresh bread and just-baked pastries.  It was gorgeous out!  Misty and cool and damp.  And the leaves are starting to turn their beautiful burnt orange, golden yellow, and fiery red colors.  Since I was doing a 'workout' and didn't want to carry my DSLR, I took photos of all-things-fall with my iPhone.  I made it to Clear Flour Bakery a few minutes before they opened and there was already a line of people waiting to get in (their baked goods are that delicious).  A loaf of bread and a few chocolate croissants later, I was on my way up Commonwealth Avenue towards home.  Here are some pictures from my morning...

Remember those meatballs?  We had delicious meatball sandwiches for lunch today.  A little tomato sauce, some mozzarella cheese, a roasted olive sandwich roll and the broiler = lunchtime perfection!  And that very bottom photo?  Today I am 18 weeks pregnant.  And I'm feeling good!  In just over a week, we'll know what flavor is a'brewin' in my belly.  Can't wait!

Anyone want to place bets on pink or blue?  I'm still feeling that this wee-one is blue but would be over the moon with pink, too.  Oh, the anticipation!!
