I'm one lucky girl. I received a text from Lee at 6:38 PM (exactly 22 minutes before the end of my shift, not that I was counting) that said this....
"Make sure you use the bathroom before you leave work. We're having a picnic on the Charles."
Wow. YES!!! To say that I scrambled out of work as quickly as I could is a total understatement. I met Lee at my bike and we rode off into the sunset in search of a place to picnic. Lee packed a delicious dinner... and even included a half bottle of red wine (biking home was fuuuuuuuuun).
I'll say it again.....
.... I'm one lucky girl.

Aw this is so cute! I am obsessed with picnics! My bf does things all the time so I don't know what the most romantic would be! One of the things I love most is when he is always willing to wake up at the crack of dawn to drive me to races and waits at the finish, taking pictures (this is a requirement haha).

ReplyDeleteRob's pretty romantic, in his own way I suppose. Kind of like the 4 am wake-up calls, but more like 2 day shows. He paints me, drives me there, sits there all day, takes pictures, and puts on my posing oil, etc... Oh, and he gets to hang out with bikini-clad girls all day. I guess that makes it a win for him too!
