Strange Awakenings.

It was another Groupon date night last night.  I'd heard about Sibling Rivalry so when it was the restaurant deal of the day, I was stoked.  And I was impressed!  I had Cape scallops, Lee had crispy duck breast.  We had wine (duh).  And delicious blueberry bread pudding for dessert.  I'd give it an 8.5 out of 10.
It was finally SUNNY and sort of WARM yesterday in Boston (back to clouds today) which called for some self-tanner, some wedges, and a fun dress.  Unfortunately by the time we got downtown, the fog was rolling in and the temp was dropping.  Oh well.

We had an early dinner (since we're old) and were home by 8:30.  With bellies full of food and wine, we were ready for bed pretty quickly and were fast asleep by 9:30 (don't make fun).  Around 10:45 PM we were awoken by PARTYING and LOUD SINGING in another language.  It sounded like it was RIGHT outside of our bedroom window, too.  And it didn't stop.  And it definitely wasn't in English.  I looked out the window and what did I see (not 'popcorn popping, that's for sure)?  A bonfire going on in the parking lot next to our apartment with a bunch of Hasidic Jewish men dancing and singing at the top of their lungs.  No I wasn't dreaming.  Not sure what that was all about (Google was of no help).  I just hope they don't make it a regular Saturday night occurrence. It certainly was obnoxious.

What is your favorite date night activity?  Going out to eat, for sure.  I love getting dressed up and heading into the city for drinks and dinner.  If it weren't so expensive (and calorie-laden) we'd do it a lot more!

Non-Garmin stats: Yesterday - 50 minutes of 'slow-burn' yoga.  And I'm sore today.  A good sore, though.  I looooove being sore.

  1. You look so pretty in that dress!
No idea what that could have been outside of your window last night--so bizarre!
